According to this week’s docket records, 27-year-old Trion woman Amber Jennings was arrested for riving without a valid license last Saturday.
Around 5 AM, a deputy on patrol in Trion plant pulled over the driver of a Mercury Milan when he noticed that the vehicle had only one working headlight and no functional taillights.
When the deputy asked driver Amber Jennings for her license, she informed him that her license was suspended. After running the tag number on the license plate, the deputy was informed that the tag belonged to a Chevy Corvette, and not the Milan that Jennings was driving.
Jennings was arrested on charges of driving without a valid license, and using a license plate to misrepresent vehicle identity. Her bond totaled almost $2000. Fulmer’s towed the vehicle from the scene.
