A fifty-two-year-old Rome woman has been arrested after police say she forced her son to live in a home that was full of animal urine and feces. Police say that Ginger Lynn Jameson was charged with cruelty to children – and seventeen counts of cruelty to animals after officers found seventeen sick cats in need of emergency care living in her home. Police added that the home was filled with the odor of ammonia. This is the second time that Jameson has been arrested on similar charges. She is additionally charged with probation violation.
