A Rome woman has been charged in a wreck that claimed the life of a  motorcyclist earlier this month on Martha Berry Highway south of the Armuchee Connector.

According to an arrest warrant, on December 6th a 2016 Jeep Compass was in the turn lane and the driver, sixty-year-old Kathleen Durkacs Wilson, was attempting to turn into Jack’s when she pulled into the path of a 2016 Yamaha FZ07 motorcycle.  The motorcycle struck the Jeep. Nineteen-year-old Daniel Isaac Eddy, who was on the motorcycle, later died from his injuries.

Wilson is charged with second degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while turning left.
