A local resident had issues with the ATM machine last Sunday and called Officers for assistance.

Summerville City Police Officers responded to a call at the United Community Bank ATM on Sunday May 16th, where they met with Mrs. Brittany Bolton. Bolton advised that she had been attempted to make a cash withdrawal in the amount of $400 from the ATM. During the transaction, Bolton stepped away from the ATM and when she returned the cash was gone and the ATM would not allow another transaction at that time.

Officers advised that the ATM likely had a timer on the transaction and when Bolton did not retrieve the cash in time, the ATM pulled the money back in. Bolton was advised to call the bank on Monday morning and a report was placed on file of the incident.
