On Tuesday of this week, a Summerville woman says that her camper was stolen while she was in jail.

Celeste Brooke Maddux told a Summerville Police officer that her camper had been stolen from a Hinton Street, Summerville address while she was incarcerated.  Maddux said that she had “put the camper over” into a Ringgold man’s name, but hadn’t completed the paperwork.

Summerville Police spoke with the Ringgold man, who said  he had no idea where the camper was.

The incident was turned over to an investigator.
