A Trion woman says that her identity has been stolen after her wallet was taken and never returned to her while she was inside the Chattooga County Jail. 

Thirty-two-year-old Brittany Schrader of a Church Street, Trion address came to the Summerville Police Department this week to report her missing wallet.  Ms. Schrader said that she had spoken with jail officials about her wallet and they said that they did not have it.  Schrader said that since she served time in jail and lost her personal identity information that was inside her wallet, she has become the victim of I.D. fraud.

The Summerville Police Department advised Ms. Schrader that they would file a report concerning the incident and gave her information on how to deal with identity fraud.
