A woman who was arrested last week for “yelling at houses” and disturbing the peace near Jerry’s Drive In in Summerville, was charged again last week – this time, after telling police she was “about to get naked”.

Summerville Police responded to a call on Monday about a woman exposing herself to passing motorists on Highway 48.

When they arrived on the scene, police found forty-five-year-old Sandy Waynette Wilson, and believed her to be under the influence of drugs.  As police were talking to Wilson, she began removing her jewelry and when an officer asked what she was doing, she said she was “about to get naked”.

Officers arrested Wilson and charged her with obstruction of law enforcement, disorderly conduct and pedestrian under the influence.
