Summerville Police arrested a woman in Summerville who had active warrants in the state of California. 

According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, forty-0ne-year-0ld Samantha Lynn Wilson was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for a traffic violation on Highland Avenue near Ira Pollard Drive.

Officers said that they could smell burnt marijuana inside the vehicle.

Police, along with agents from the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force found Wilson to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects.

Wilson was arrested on the outstanding warrant and on drug charges and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
