Stephanie Michelle Massingill age 23 of Calhoun was arrested at the East Rome Walmart on Sunday after she allegedly dragged her child from the store before hitting him.

Reports indicate that a witness spotted Massingill pulling her son by the arm from the store and then using her other hand to hit him. Reports added that she was also spotted dragging her son by the arm inside the store.

Massingill was charged with felony first degree cruelty to children.
