On October 1st, a Chattooga County officer met with a complainant on Commerce Street to discuss an incident that occurred at her home on Filter Plant Road.

The complainant told the officer that someone had damaged her mailbox within the last month. The woman suspected that someone had run into it accidentally, but did not attempt to contact her.

Someone had also removed a package from her mailbox. The package contained Wii batteries.

The woman estimated the initial damage to her mailbox at $50 and the batteries around $20. She was told that the incident report would be filed and Investigators would be informed for further review.
