Two women were recently arrested after a shoplifting incident at Walmart in Trion.  According to reports, thirty-three-year-old Pamela Simpson and forty-five-year-old Misty Nicole Allen were accused of shoplifting.  When deputies arrived on the scene, Simpson had returned to the store where she was being detained by Walmart employees.  Sheriff Mark Schrader went to the parking lot to talk with Allen, the other suspect.  Both Simpson and Allen gave false names to sheriff’s deputies.  Deputies discovered that both women had active warrants for their arrests at the time of the shoplifting incident. Simpson and Allen were both charged with shoplifting and giving a false name to law enforcement and were booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
