Two women reportedly were involved in the forgery of two checks cashed at a Lyerly convenience store in December. According to a report by the Chattooga County Sheriff's department, an employee of BJ Food Mart, Highway 114, Lyerly reported the incident. The employee said two women were involved in the forgery of two checks valued at $1,625.56, The investigation into the incident, which occurrred on December 23,  is ongoing, according to the report.
