An accident is being reported on Highway 117 in Alabama about a mile from the Chattooga County line.  The accident happened on the bridge over Little River, known locally as "Whatley's Bridge".  The accident has shut down traffic as emergency workers clear the scene.  Traffic coming out of Chattooga County going towards Fort Payne will be affected this morning.
