Diesel engine maker Yanmar America Corp. has moved its corporate headquarters from Buffalo Grove, Ill., to Adairsville, Georgia.

The Adairsville plant has 480,000 square feet of production space and room to expand.

The new complex is home to the company’s North American manufacturing, engineering, marketing and administration and will support the company’s agricultural, construction and marine units.

The move to Adairsville coincides with the opening of the new Yanmar/Cub Cadet manufacturing facility at the same location. Yanmar is based in Japan.
