Georgia voters can now go online to order an absentee ballot for the November election at ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov

The site transmits ballot requests to local County officials, avoiding mail delays.

The Georgia Secretary of State created the new website to handle the expected record number of absentee ballot requests this year.

According to Chattooga County Registrar Sheena Weaver, over 1,500 ballot requests were mailed out earlier this week.  Each day, the Registrars Office continues to mail out absentee ballots as they are received from the Secretary of State’s Office.

You have until October 30th to request an absentee ballot in Georgia.
