LAURA BEATRICE FLETCHER WOODS, age 81, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Summerville, Georgia on January 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Elbert Emmett and Ollie Camelia Roberts Fletcher. Ms. Laura was a member of the Dry Valley Baptist Church, retired from the weave shop of Mount Vernon Mills, and was preceded in death by a son, the late Barry Joseph Woods on May 3, 2022, and siblings the late Elizabeth F. Cook, Ann F. Atkins, Bud Fletcher, Wanda F. Knowles, Myra F. Kellett, Shirley F. Elsworth, and Jack Fletcher.

Surviving are son, Gary and Melanie Woods; daughter-in-law, Tina Woods; grandchildren, Bryan McWhorter, Haley Woods, Jim Bo Woods, Rose Woods, Lauren Woods, and Matthew Woods; great grandchildren, Gage McWhorter and Gunnar McWhorter; Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 9th, at 3:00 P.M. from Graveside in West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Teague officiating. Active Pallbearers Jason McArthur, Ethan Gaines, Bryan Hunter, Bryan McWhorter, Jimbo Woods. The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 until 3 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.
