Chattooga High School is heading into a busy week of spring sports and activities as students and staff continue the countdown to Spring Break.

Assistant Principal and Athletic Director J. Mark Turner reminded families that there are now just eight school days remaining until the break. He also thanked the community for its continued support and noted that the school is still looking for volunteers to help with gate duties at upcoming games.

The schedule for next week includes several home and away events across multiple sports. On Monday, March 23, Track and Field will compete at Armuchee at 4:00 p.m., varsity baseball will host North Sand Mountain at home at 5:00 p.m., and Chattooga soccer will travel to Gordon Central at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, March 24, the tennis team will travel to Gordon Lee for a 4:00 p.m. match, while varsity baseball returns home to face Fannin County at 5:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, March 25, Chattooga’s JV baseball team will host LaFayette at 5:00 p.m.

The schedule continues on Thursday, March 26, with tennis hosting Armuchee at 4:00 p.m. and Track and Field competing at Gordon Lee at 4:00 p.m.

The week wraps up on Friday, March 27, when tennis travels to Dade County at 4:00 p.m., soccer heads to Dalton Academy at 5:00 p.m., and varsity baseball takes on Fannin County in an away doubleheader at 5:30 p.m.

School officials say it will be another packed week for Chattooga athletics and are encouraging fans to come out and support the Indians while also helping fill open volunteer spots for gate duty.
