Atrium Health Floyd is being recognized for its long-standing commitment to the people of Chattooga County, where the healthcare system says it has proudly served residents for more than 80 years.

Over the decades, Atrium Health Floyd has continued to build strong relationships in the community while making investments aimed at improving access to care, prevention efforts, and overall quality of life.

Today, Atrium Health Floyd serves as the EMS provider for Chattooga County and also delivers emergency care through its stand-alone emergency department, providing 24-hour emergency services closer to home for local residents. In addition, the system offers primary care, urgent care, and rehabilitation services, helping meet a wide range of healthcare needs across the community.

In recognition of those efforts, Atrium Health Floyd was honored with the 2025 Wellness Business of the Year award from the 2026 Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce. Hospital leaders thanked both the Chamber and the residents of Chattooga County, saying they are grateful for the trust the community places in them each day.

The recognition highlights Atrium Health Floyd’s continued role as a major healthcare provider in Chattooga County and its ongoing investment in services designed to support the community at every stage of life.
