The Northwest Georgia System of Care “Tri-Annual Meeting” will take place Friday (March 11th) at Salem Baptist Church in Dalton, Georgia from 9:00am – 2:00pm.
The topic will be Highlighting of the Georgia APEX Project, and Importance of School Based Mental Health Services.
The Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Gary McGiboney Deputy State Superintendent for Policy at the Georgia Department of Education.
There will be Break Out Sessions on – An Ounce of Prevention Pyramid Strategies for the Prevention of Challenging Behavior in Early Learning; QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Suicide Prevention Training; and the Nuts & Bolts of School Based mental Health Services Implementation.
