Chattooga County School System Releases Weekly COVID-19 Cases

The Chattooga County School System has 4 positive cases of COVID-19 reporting this week. Lyerly Elementary is reporting 1 positive case, while Leroy Massey is reporting the other 3 cases. 98 people are quarantined this week due to contact tracing.

Trion City School System Release Weekly COVID-19 Cases

Trion City Schools are once again reporting zero positive cases of COVID-19 across all school systems. While these numbers do not represent those quarantined due to contact tracing, they are also not reporting any positve cases among the district staff members as well.

GNTC Police Receive Technology Grant From Governor’s Office Of Highway Safety

 

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) Police recently received an $18,000 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). The grant, which will continue through September of 2021, will help finance mobile laptop workstations in GNTC’s patrol vehicles.
