The Chattooga Indians traveled to Rome to face the Darlington Tigers Friday night, looking for their first win of the season. The Tigers proved to be too much for the Indians as Darlington defeated Chattooga by a final score of 31-7. Darlington took the lead early with a field goal and then added a touchdown before the close of the first quarter. By halftime, the Indians trailed Tigers 23-0. Chattooga got on the board in the 3rd with a touchdown, but Darlington also scored again, making the score at the end of the third 29-7 in favor of the Tigers. Darlington finished the scoring by registering a safety, making the score 31-7, which was the final for the night. 

Model will come to Summerville next Friday to face the Indians at the Little Big Horn. Chattooga will be looking to start region play with a win. Model is coming off a loss to Sonoraville 18-17. You can hear Model Blue Devils and the Chattooga Indians on AM 1180 next Friday night, starting at 7:15PM.

 Trion was idle Friday night. The Bulldogs will travel to Kennesaw next Friday night to face off against the Mt. Paran Eagles in Class A tussle. Trion is 2-0 on the season with wins over Armuchee and LaFayette. Mt. Paran is winless on the season, dropping games to both Our Lady of Mercy Catholic and Brookstone.
