Join us for a Good Friday Service Friday April 18th at Armuchee Baptist Church 6648 Big Texas Valley Rd. Rome, GA. Service begins at 7pm. We will read the scriptures of the crucifixion up to the resurrection, the choir will present their Easter Cantata, and we will observe the Lords Supper setting the stage for resurrection Sunday. Horizon Baptist Fellowship invites everyone to join us for a Tenebrae service on Thursday, April 17, at 7:00 PM. This Holy Week candlelight service will feature the adult choir’s musical presentation of We Remember Calvary, and Communion will be offered as part of the service. “Tenebrae” is Latin for “darkness” and refers to a worship service recreating the emotional and spiritual aspects of Christ’s last days. The gradual extinguishing of candles is a key visual representation of the darkening of the world as Christ approaches his death. Horizon is located at 1216 Highway 114, Summerville, across from Chattooga High School.
