Pastor John Mann and the congregation of West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church are honored to be the hands and feet of Jesus this Thanksgiving season. If you or someone you know is in need of a Thanksgiving meal that can be prepared at home, we invite you to our community distribution this Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
We will be distributing 171 meal boxes, and each box is designed to feed a family of four. Limit one box per vehicle.
Distribution will be in a drive-thru manner and will take place at the Chattooga County Tag Office, located at 120 Cox Street, Summerville, Georgia, 30747. The line will begin at the Tag Office and continue up West Washington Street. Volunteers will be on-site ahead of time to assist with traffic flow and lineup.

MRS. MARLENE KEEN, 76, of Keen Road, Summerville, Georgia, Teloga Community, passed away Tuesday morning, November 18, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Keen was born on December 7, 1948 in LaFayette, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ernest and Zera Maples McArthur. She was a member of the Beersheba Presbyterian Church since 1971 and enjoyed sharing THE LORD with other people. Mrs. Keen retired from Carron Mills spinning department in 1993. In addition to Her Parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, the late Faye White; brothers the late Andy McArthur and Michael McArthur; and granddaughter the late Jamie Delee.
Surviving are Her husband, David C. Keen, Sr.; daughter, Lynn (Joe) Middleton; son, David C. Keen, Jr. (Brandy Wilkey); grandchildren, Haley (Tim) Goodson; Raegan (Anna) Middleton, Drake Keen, Payton Keen, Jennifer (Jackie) Burrage, Trever McArthur, Olivia McArthur; Eight Great Grandchildren; brother, Richard McArthur; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21st, at 4:00 P.M. from the Beersheba Presbyterian Chruch with Rev. Jennifer Lee and Tim Goodson officiating, interment in Macedonia Cemetery. Active Pallbearers Jeff Keen, Doug Shamblin, Sr., Mike Ward, Joe Middleton, Tim Goodson, Chris Keen, Breck Keen, and Treven McArthur; Honorary Pallbearers, Bud Willis, Dr. John Scott Carroll, Rick and Vickie Jones, Dicky Jones, Charlotte Carroll, Virgie Young, Frances Burton, and Tapestry Hospice. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 until 8 P.M. at Earle Rainwater Funeral Home.
