MRS. FREIDA SPRAGGINS HUMPHREY, age 71, of Sloppy Floyd Lake Road, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Monday evening, November 24, 2025, in a Rome hospital. A native of Trion, Georgia, She was the daughter of the late Alvin (Slim), and Juanita Keef Spraggins. Along with Her Husband, Mrs. Humphrey was co owner of Sign Designs of Summerville and a home maker.
Surviving are Her husband, William (Butch) Humphrey; sons, Michael (Kim) Humphrey and Christopher (Danielle) Humphrey; grandchildren, Allee Humphrey and Colton Humphrey.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 30th, at 3:00 P.M. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Quinn officiating, interment in Summerville Cemetery. Active Pallberers William (Butch) Humphrey, Michael Humphrey, Christopher Humphrey, Colton Humphrey, Steiner Davis, and Dale Parker; Honorary Pallbearers the Chattooga High Baseball Team, Ben Groce, Mike Spence, and Chris (Bubba) Wilson.
The Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 until 3 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
