Mr. Virgil Cody Chastain, age 76 of Ringgold, Georgia formerly of Trion passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Chastain was born in Trion, Georgia on August 20, 1941. Funeral Services for Mr. Chastain will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Goodman officiating. Mr. Robert Oliver Spear, age 85 of Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was born in 1932 in Blanche, Alabama. Mr. Spear will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2018. Funeral services for Mr. Spear will be held at 11:00 A.M. Mr. James Gregory “Greg” Espy, age 59 of Summerville, passed away suddenly Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born in Trion in 1958. Mr. Espy will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 P.M. Mrs. Brenda Shaw Woodard, age 65, of Menlo, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born in 1952. She and her late husband, Mike, owned and operated Menlo Lucky’s Supermarket. Mrs. Woodard will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at other hours the family will be at the residence 446 Jamestown Rd, Menlo, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Woodard will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 25, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery.
