Mrs. Kathryn Elemeta McDonald, age 85, of Calhoun, GA, died Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. McDonald was born July 2, 1932, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Winston Alton and Margaret Corene Williams McDonald. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Andy Barrett; her brothers, Jim McDonald, Dub McDonald, and Gene McDonald; and a sister, Thelma Brown.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by her sons, Gary Barrett and Mike Headrick; daughters, Pat Barnes and Pam Mullins; sisters, Frances Payton and Dean Cox; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; 16 nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Alfred Black.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. McDonald are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Mason Funeral Home.

MS. DIANNE L. BURGE, age 72, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, evening in a Rome hospital. She was born in Trion, Georgia on December 6, 1945, a daughter of the late Rev.Frank B. Lewis and Lyndell S. Lewis. Ms. Burge was a retired nurse.
Surviving are sisters, Linda Gail Wagoner of Statesville, N.C. and Alma Lewis of Summerville; aunt, Norma Perry of Rossville; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
