
Those in need of groceries can go by South Summerville Baptist Church tomorrow from 10 AM until 1 PM and get a free box of groceries. There’s Hope for the Hungry will be distributing the food in the parking lot at South Summerville. No ID is required, and food must be picked up in person. There is no charge and no questions asked. There’s Hope For the Hungry distributes free food throughout North Georgia in collaboration with local churches. So far this year, 32,429 people that make up 11,100 families have been fed by the ministry. That also includes 8,986 children and 6,897 senior adults. Over 225,000 lbs have been given away just in 2024. If you or someone you know needs some help with groceries, be sure to go by South Summerville Baptist Church tomorrow, Wednesday July 17th.
