Georgia Power joined with Governor Brian Kemp and the Georgia Department of Economic Development to celebrate the decision by Hyundai Motor Group to open its first fully dedicated electric vehicle (EV) and battery manufacturing facility in the State of Georgia. The AMI Cemetery in Menlo is asking the community for donations for the upkeep of the cemetery, located on Jamestown Road just outside the city limits of Menlo. The cemetery is maintained by volunteers and donations. Anyone wishing to donate can mail contributions to Sue Gilley at PO Box 25, Menlo, GA 30731. Also, people with loved ones buried at AMI Cemetery are being asked to not use glass flower vases or glass containers of any kind in the cemetery.
