Chattooga County’s only newspaper will be getting a new look, according to The Summerville News editor Gene Espy.  The weekly newspaper is being forced to change the size of the publication because the size of newsprint (paper) that they have used for decades, is no longer available.

MR. GEORGE DEWAYNE CALDWELL, age 70, of Congress Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday morning, January 17, 2022, following an extended illness. He was born in Chattooga County, Georgia to the late Charlie Martin and Irene Mae Ellison Caldwell on October 26, 1951.
