The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division is looking for people interested in a career as a game warden.

On Sunday of this week, The 36th Game Warden Academy got underway. Eighteen new Game Warden cadets reported to the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth to begin their 23 weeks of training.

The GBI continues to investigate the death of a Floyd County Jail inmate that happened last week.  According to a press release from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, fifty-five-year-old David Lee Daniel of Summerville was found unresponsive in his cell.
