The Georgia General Assembly is in special session to redraw district maps for Georgia’s legislative districts. State Rep. Eddie Lumsden, a Republican from Armuchee who represents all of Chattooga County and a portion of Floyd County in the General Assembly, has released a report about the special session:
Jeremiah Douglas of Wildwood, Ga charged with Felony Murder for the death of a 23 year old female which occurred on November 5, 2021. Douglas is currently Incarcerated in the Dade County Jail where he is accused of shoving the victim from a moving vehicle causing her death.

MRS. JOAN CAROLDYN TERRELL – BLYTHE – AGE 79, of Rome, Georgia and formerly of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from an automobile accident.
