The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate an accident that happened on Monday afternoon in the Gore area. The accident involved a tractor-trailer and a vehicle. Traffic was slowed in both directions on Highway 27 near Hunter’s Furniture. Lifeforce landed on Highway 27 to transport injured from the crash. Trion United Methodist Church will have their Brunswick Stew available Saturday, November 6th. It is $8 per quart. It is on a first come first served basis. You may pick the stew up around 10:30 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. Thank you to all who support our stew project.

Mrs. Amber LeAnn Cooper Gilbreath, age 40 of Chickamauga, formerly of Summerville, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital.
