Trion Schools Weekly COVID Report

The Trion School District released a weekly COVID report on Friday of last week.  There were 2 positive cases at Trion High School; 5 cases at Trion Middle School; 3 cases at Trion Elementary School and 3 District Staff Members testing positive last week.

Chattooga Schools Weekly COVID Report

The COVID numbers have improved in the Chattooga County School system, according to numbers that were released on Friday of last week.  No school in the system is showing a positive rate over 5% – which is the threshold for closing individual schools.

Thursday Prayer Meetings At Flagpole Being Held

A group of pastors and laymen in Chattooga County have organized a weekly prayer service at the flagpole located in J.R. Dick Dowdy Park in Summerville. The prayer meetings are being held each Thursday at 6 PM and is open to all pastors and laypersons in the county who want to come and pray for Chattooga County.   Organizers say there is no politics involved and anyone is welcome to come and pray.
