Chattooga County School Supt. Jared Hosmer announced on Friday afternoon that due to the number of COVID-19 cases at Chattooga High School, the school will be moving from a hybrid-model to virtual learning for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. The school system says that the virtual learning days will allow cleaning staff time to deep-clean the school building. Chattooga High School students will need to consult the short-term closer plan for class instructions for next week. You can read more from Supt. Hosmer below:

The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair opened on Thursday evening and continues through Sunday, August 29th. The fair is taking place at the Chattooga County Ag Building and Summerville Middle School property on Middle School Drive just off Highway 100 in Summerville.
