Georgia gas prices increased at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.97 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 4 cents more than a week ago, 7 cents more than last month and 96 cents more than this time last year.

Mr. Leo Lanier, Jr. age 98 of Summerville, Georgia, Chattooga County’s last Prisoner of War, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his residence.
