Chattooga High School Graduation This Evening

Chattooga High School’s Class of 2020 will finally have a graduation exercise this evening at the Little Bighorn Stadium.  The event will take place at 8 PM.  Graduates have each been issued four tickets each for tonight’s graduation ceremony and a ticket will be required to attend the event.  Chattooga County School Supt. Jared Hosmer says that families will be seated together with proper social distancing maintained.  Both sides of the stadium will be used to seat the families. Gates will open at 6:30 PM and ushers will take families to their seats.  No one will be allowed on the field for pictures after the graduation exercises.  Groups will be dismissed in stages to maintain social distancing.  Hosmer said that everyone is to exit the stadium after the event.  Masks are not required, but are recommended.

DPH Announces New COVID-19 Testing Days & Hours

The Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest Health District is changing testing hours at its ten Northwest Georgia drive-up COVID-19 testing locations.
