U.S. Sees Increase In Toy Manufacturers

While the bulk of toys sold in the United States continues to be imported from overseas – mostly China – there is good news in the homegrown toy manufacturing business.  The U.S. Census Bureau says the number of manufacturing establishments nationwide that primarily produce toys, dolls and games has seen an increase and is now numbers over 500.  Collectively, they employ over 6,000 workers.  California leads the nation with 93 establishments producing toys.
