Mrs. Huggins was born July 1, 1933 in Walker County, GA, the daughter of the late Buel Hollis and Maryetta McWhorter Hollis. She was retired from Bigelow Sanford Carpet Mills. She was a member of the Pennville Church of Christ. Mrs. Huggins was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Huggins; son, Randy Huggins; granddaughter, Jessica Huggins; and a sister, Bessie Edwards.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rick & Karen Huggins, Graysville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jerry Kirby, Ooltewah, TN; brothers, Clarence Hollis, Lavonia, GA and Max Hollis, Trion, GA; grandchildren, Amy & John Dunn, Amber Griffith, Christian Huggins, Paige Marie Huggins, Joseph Daniel Huggins; great grandchild, Chandler Lee Dunn; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Pennville Church of Christ with Min. Robbie Eversole and Min. C. G. Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Todd, John Dunn, Scott Gaylor, Randy Camp, Jeff Sebastian, and Rodney Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Bible Class of Pennville Church of Christ, Joe Cook, Debbie Sebastian, Lela Williams, Dot Strickland, Robert & Deb Williams, Sonny Huggins, Ron Patty, Wayne McArthur, and Lewis Cox.
Mrs. Huggins will be in state and the family will receive friends at the Pennville Church of Christ on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 10:00 a. m. until the service hour.
