Mrs. Lorene Bramlett, age 70, of Wayside Community in Summerville, passed away Friday moring in a Rome hospital. she was born in Marshall County, Alabama on April 20, 1938 to the late John Franklin and Martha Ray Lankford. Mrs. bramlett was a member of Wayside Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, the  late Danny Pettyjohn; great grandsons – the late Aaron Hines and Carmon Clark; sisters – the late Bertha Sprayberry, Patsy Lowrance, and Shirley Hampton.

Surviving are her husband, Liborn Bramlett; daughter – Debra Bailey, of Trion; sons – Walter Clark, of laFayette and Allen Clark, of Summerville; sister – Helen Green, of LaFayette; brothers – Tommy Lankford, of Chickamauga, and Bobby Lankford, of LaFayette; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 17th, at 2:00 PM from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastors Joel Smith, Barry Brown, and Jackie Buckhannon officiating, with interment in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Timmy Lankford, Jackie Lankford, Michael Lankford, Jeremy York, Walter Clark, and Cajun Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Banks, John McGraw, Tony Prince, Mark Tidmore, and Chris Hardin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 16th, from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. At other hours, they will be at the residence.
