CHS Teachers are constantly thinking of ways to reach parents and their most recent endeavor will begin next Tuesday at trade day. Yes, you read right, CHS teachers will be at trade day next Tuesday. You may be thinking, why in the world teachers are headed to a flea market? The answer is very simple. CHS wants parents to be involved in their child’s education, and in order to reach parents, CHS administration has decided to take school business to places where parents can be found. Tuesday trade day is one of the most crowed venues in Northwest Georgia, and many Chattooga County residents visit the hot spot to stock up on bargains of all kinds. CHS teachers will be set up at trade day on Tuesdays in hopes of getting parent’s attention and connecting with them about their student. A CHS parent can stop by the CHS booth to ask questions or gain information about their student’s progress at school. At CHS ‘We Expect Success’ and if it means finding parents where they frequent we are willing to set up shop in an unconventional place. Look for CHS representatives this Tuesday at trade day!
