There’s Hope For The Hungry will be at South Summerville Baptist Church Wednesday October 16th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Food must be picked up in person.
United by Faith Baptist Church will be having revival Monday October 14th 15 th and 16 th Starting at 7 pm nightly. Justin Ward will be preaching the revival.

There will be a yard sale to benefit Shelby Millican on Saturday October 12th beginning at 8am at the 2nd Baptist Church in Lafayette. Shelby is 17 years old and has brain cancer. There’s Hope for the Hungry will be at the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion today, Thursday, October 10 to give away free groceries. Come between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm to get your free groceries. No ID is required. But you must be present to receive the food. Also, the Central Avenue Community Clothes Closet will be open at the church from 10:00 until 12:30. We look forward to seeing you. Pentecostal Power Ministries is hosting their 6th annual Car Show & Fall Festival on October 12, 2024 from 11 am until 3 pm at Lyerly Park. The entry fee for the car show is $20. There will be live gospel music with “Saved by Grace” along with food, vendors, a kid’s zone and more. The event is sponsored by O’Reilly’s. Bring your own lawn chair. Everyone Welcome!
Harvest Worship Center located in Trion, GA will be hosting a Women’s Conference, “AWAKEN” on November 15 – 16, 2024. Doors will open at 6:00PM on Friday and 9:00AM on Saturday morning. This is a time for women to come together and escape from the daily distractions and obligations of life to focus on themselves and make connections with other women in our community.
We will have food, fellowship, worship, and focus on what it means to be “AWAKENED” in Christ. (Romans 13:11).
Our guest speaker will be lead pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, Sharon Farruggia-Paige. As women, we always pour into our families, our jobs, and other relationships in our lives, but seldom get time to focus on bettering ourselves as women of God. This will be a great time for us to give attention to ourselves and refuel for the days ahead.
