There’s Hope for the Hungry will be at the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion this week on Thursday, September 12 to give away free groceries. Come between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm to get your free groceries. No ID is required. But you must be present to receive the food. Also, the Central Avenue Community Clothes Closet the same day at the church from 10:00 until 12:30. The church is located at 14074 Highway 27 in Trion next to Michael’s Body Shop.
Connect City Church will be having a family fun day This Saturday September 7th 2:30-7:00 @ The Summerville Open Air Pavilion. We will have bounce houses, free hotdogs, face painting, & we will end the evening with live worship starting at 5. We want the whole community to come and have fun fellowship and worship with us.
Teloga Baptist Church is having homecoming on Sunday September the 15th. The service will begin at 10:30am and there will be a dinner following the service. There will be a Labor Day Gospel Fest on Monday September 2nd at the Cloudland Community Park. The event will run from 10am until 2pm Eastern time. The Gospel Fest is sponsored by the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department. There will be no admission fee. BBQ lunches will be sold for $10 consisting of a BBQ sandwich, chips & dessert. There will be an open mic for Gospel music and sound equipment is provided. Bring your instruments and join in! The Cloudland Community Park is located at 284 Gadsden Avenue in Cloudland.
