There’s Hope for the Hungry will be at the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Trion this week on Thursday, May 9 to give away free groceries. Come between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm to get your free groceries. No ID is required. But you must be present to receive the food. Also, the Central Avenue Community Clothes Closet the same day at the church from 10:00 until 12:30. The church is located at 14074 Highway 27 in Trion next to Michael’s Body Shop.
Wayside Baptist Church located at 855 Sloppy Floyd Lake Road will be in revival May 12th at 6PM and May 13th thru 16th at 7PM with a different speaker each night. Sunday night speaker will be Brother Timothy Painter, Monday night Pastor Micca Gillespie, Tuesday night Pastor Freddy Bell, Wednesday night Brother Tracy Dowdy, and Thursday night Brother Adrian Langston. There will be a special singing each night. Pastor Chris Gibson and the congregation invite everyone to attend.
Trion Heights Baptist Church celebrates homecoming this Sunday, May 5th beginning at 10:30 AM. Worship service will be led by an exciting and dynamic family trio, Westward Road, led by Scott Roberts, a 20-year veteran worship leader and nation charting songwriter, and his wife, the talented and award-winning vocalist, Kelli Roberts. Their son, Garrett Roberts completes the gifted musical family with his smooth vocal tones.
The Menlo Church of Christ will be having a “Friends & Family Day” on Sunday May 5th. Bible Study will be at 10am and worship to follow at 11am. The guest speaker will be Rene Zeringue. There will be a free catered lunch in the Menlo Park at noon following the service as well as free “Who Will Follow Jesus” t-shirts while supplies last. The Menlo Church of Christ is located at 122 Bell Street in Menlo. Everyone is invited to attend.

Several local churches will be hosting a free yard sale titled “Abounding Love” this Saturday April 20th at Dowdy Park. The yard sale will be from 8:30am until 2:30 pm. There will be free food, music and fellowship. The yard sale is sponsored by the following churches:

The Menlo Church of Christ is hosting a Jesus Centered, Faith filled Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th at 2:00 pm. Hot Dog lunch will be served. Everyone Welcome.
