Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center- Easter Event

Summerville Pentecostal Worship Center is inviting families to a Kids Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12 noon. The event will begin with lunch in the fellowship hall, followed by an Easter egg hunt for children.

The church is located at 116 Lake Wanda Reita Road in Summerville. Organizers are asking each family to bring one dozen filled eggs per child to help make the event special for everyone attending.

Church leaders say the afternoon is designed to be a time of food, fun, and fellowship for the community as families gather to celebrate the Easter season.

Revival At Spring Creek Baptist Church

Spring Creek Baptist Church will host a weeklong revival beginning Saturday, March 15, inviting the community to attend several nights of preaching and worship.

The revival will begin Saturday, March 15 at 6 p.m., with services continuing March 16 through March 20 at 7 p.m. each evening at the church, located at 2629 Spring Creek Road in Trion.

Guest preachers scheduled for the revival include Johnny Dotson on Sunday, March 15; Mica Gillespie on Monday, March 16; Justin Ward on Tuesday, March 17; Nathan Poteet on Wednesday, March 18; John Vanpelt on Thursday, March 19; and Bradley Clayton on Friday, March 20.

 

Everyone is invited to attend the six nights of services.

Easter Play At Spring Creek Baptist Church

Spring Creek Baptist Church is inviting the community to attend its upcoming Easter play titled “King of Hearts.”

The presentation will take place Sunday, March 29 at 6 p.m. at the church, located at 2629 Spring Creek Road in Trion.

The Easter play will celebrate the message of the season and is open to the public.

Lyerly Pentecostal Tabernacle- singing

Pentecostal Power Ministries Hosting Men’s Meeting in Lyerly

Men from across the area are invited to attend a special Men’s Meeting hosted by Pentecostal Power Ministries this Saturday.

The gathering will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hayes Fellowship Hall, located at 87 North Chattooga Avenue in Lyerly, Georgia.

Featured speaker for the event will be Robert Cantrell, also known as “Brother Tic Tac.” Organizers say the meeting will focus on fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth for men in the community.

Free Community Meal Planned for March 21 at Summerville First Baptist

A free hot meal will be served later this month in Summerville as part of the Grateful Saturday Blessings outreach.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 21st from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Summerville First Baptist Church, located at 125 Georgia Avenue.

Organizers say the meal will include spaghetti, corn, a roll, and desserts — all provided at no cost to the community.

Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy food and fellowship.

Revival At Berryton Baptist Church March 2-6

Revival services will be held at the Berryton Baptist Church Monday March 2nd through Friday March 6th.  Services will begin at 7pm nightly.  Brother Bobby Barnes will be the speaker.  Pastor Mickey Skates and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

Pastor Jason Boyd Named Pastor of West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church

West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church, located at 3580 Back Berryton Road, Summerville, GA 30747, is pleased to announce that Pastor Jason Boyd was elected as Pastor on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Pastor Jason was first installed as Assistant Pastor in August 2013. He has faithfully served in ministry for many years and has been under the spiritual leadership and guidance of Brother John Mann since the age of seven, apart from two years during his time in travel ministry. His life has been deeply rooted in the church, and his heart for God and people has been evident from a young age.

Jason and his wife, First Lady Glori Boyd, are blessed with three children: Jaren (18), and 13-year-old twins, Samuel and Grace. Their children are actively involved and play a meaningful role in the ministry of the church, making it truly a family calling.

Pastor Jason and First Lady Glori extend a warm invitation to the community and surrounding areas to come worship with them. “We would love for you to come take a seat and do life with us,” Pastor Jason shared. “Our desire is to serve this community, preach the truth of God’s Word, and build strong families together.”

An Installation Service will be held on March 1, 2026, at 10:50 a.m. , with Brother Randall Abbott officiating. Brother Randall will also be ministering for the evening service at 6 PM. The public is invited to attend.

Food Distribution Set for Saturday in Teloga Area

A free food distribution is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, at Beersheba Presbyterian Church in the Teloga community.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. until noon and will be first come, first served. Organizers say the distribution is open to those in need while supplies last.

The food distribution is being offered by Helping Hands End Hunger in partnership with the Atrium Health Floyd–Polk Foundation. Additional support is being provided by the Teloga Community, Teloga Fire Department, Teloga Springs Farm, and Beersheba Presbyterian Church.
