The Trion First Baptist Church will be having a churchwide yard sale this coming Saturday May the 6th from 8am until 3 pm at the church located at 95 Church Street in Trion. All funds raised will go towards the church’s youth activities.
A Mother’s Day program is set for May 14th at 11am at Cedar Spring Baptist Church in Lyerly. The guest speaker will be Cassie Shropshire from Huntsville, AL. The Reverend James Clark and Minister Robert Lackey and the congregation invites the public to attend.
The Second Baptist Church of Summerville will be hosting their annual Mother & Son Dance on Saturday May 27th from 6-9 pm at the Chattooga County Civic Center located on 44 GA Highway 48. Jamie George and the Healing Music Concert Tour will be performing at the Summerville Adventist Church on Wednesday May 3rd at 7pm. The Summerville Adventist Church is located at 116 College Street in Summerville.
Michael Knight & the Redeemed will be singing at Pentecostal Power Ministries on Sunday April 30th at 11:00 am. Pentecostal Power Ministries is located at 85 Lyerly Dam Road in Lyerly. Spaghetti plates with salad & garlic bread will be sold after the singing for $8.00 each. All proceeds will go to the church’s building fund.
There’s Hope for The Hungry will be at South Summerville Baptist on Wednesday April 19th. The hours are from 10 AM until 1 PM. There is no ID required.
Fisher’s Chapel Church, located at 7335 Dry Creek Road Summerville, invites all to their 5th Saturday night singing on April 29th at 6:00 PM featuring Instruments of Grace. Refreshments will be provided after the singing. Pastor Bruce Owens and the church welcome all to join in the fellowship and to Sunday worship service at 11:00 AM.
