Chattooga County Schools will hold Kindergarten registration for the 2019-2020 school year on April 18th and June 6th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chattooga Enrollment Center.

The Friends of the Chattooga County Library will have a book sale at the Summerville Branch coming up this Friday from 10 AM until 5 PM and on Saturday from Noon until 5 PM. The Chattooga Band Boosters are looking for items for a yard sale fundraiser for the Chattooga High School Band. If you have items that you would like to donate for the yard sale, you can contact Susan Geurin at 706-237-1391 or Jeannie Lane at 706-512-1454 to schedule a drop-off. The yard sale will be on April 27 and will also feature a BBQ sale. If you would like to purchase a barbecue plate you may contact any Chattooga Band Booster.
The annual Ms. Trion Pageant is coming up and the deadline to register will be tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th.

The Town of Trion Business Office, Maintenance, Gas, and Recreation Departments will be closed on Friday, April 19, 2019 for Good Friday Easter Holiday. Garbage normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Thursday, April 18, 2019. All other days will be on regular schedule. For any emergency calls for the Gas or the Trion Police Department, please get in touch with Emergency 911 and they will contact the proper person.
The Town of Lyerly has announced the annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the town’s churches. The event is free and open to the public.
