The Summerville Fire Department and the American Red Cross are looking for volunteers to install smoke alarms locally on May 4, 2019 during the Red Cross’ Sound the Alarm home fire safety and smoke alarm installation event.
The Chattooga County Special Olympics will be held at Chattooga High School on Wednesday, April 10th at 9:00 am on the visitor’s side of the football field. The public is invited to attend. The Special Olympic Committee would like to thank the community whose donations made the Olympics possible again this year.
Please come out and show support for the 9/10 Summerville Chiefs as they host a BBQ fundraiser this Saturday, March 23 from 10 am until 1 pm at the Fit Pit in Summerville. All proceeds will help the team cover the costs of uniforms. Sack lunches will be sold for $6.00 each with a sandwich, chips, pickle spear and a drink.

Coming up this Saturday, March 16th you are asked to come out and support the 7-8 year-old Summerville Braves Baseball Team. Michael Kirk will be set up at the Fit Pit Gym selling delicious BBQ and all of the proceeds will go towards uniforms, tournament fees and other expenses for the 7-8 Summerville Braves. $4 per sandwich or get a sack lunch for $6 or buy it by the pound for $12 a pound. Get out and support the 7-8 Summerville Braves this Saturday at the Fit Pit in Summerville.
