Mount Vernon Mills along with Blood Assurance will be hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday September 27th from 6am until 5pm, at the Central Conference Room and the Main Rotunda Parking Lot.
The Chattooga County Beekeepers September meeting has been cancelled.

The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a fundraiser to help with expenses for the Senior Well Check program. The sheriff’s department gets gift baskets together each year at Christmastime to deliver to the county’s senior citizens that are on the well-check list.
The Trion Bulldogs are set to face the Bremen Blue Devils tomorrow night at 7:30 at the Trion football stadium.
AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will be broadcasting the game on the radio with the pre-game show starting at 7 PM and kickoff at 7:30 PM. Join Anthony Gillleland and Jeremy Burke for the play by play on the radio and on SKY 21.5 Television. (Ben Groce will return the next Friday).
Trion High School wants fans to know that the ticket booth will open at 5:30, and tickets are $8.00. All students who are in Pre-K and older will have to purchase a ticket. No outside food or drink is allowed in the stadium, and there are no passes out until the end of the third quarter.

The annual “Labor Day at the Post” will be held today on Barnhardt Cir. in Ft. Oglethorpe from 11 AM to 5 PM. The event will include food, arts and crafts, vendors, musical entertainment, and childrens’ activities.
Additionally, the annual “Labor Day Car Show” for the “Walker County Stocking Full of Love” is happening today at the Walker County Civic Center. Registration will be 8-11:30 AM. There will be prizes, breakfast and lunch concessions, silent auctions and a raffle.

The City of Summerville will hold a second public hearing regarding Sunday alcohol sales on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Summerville City Hall.
