Summerville Middle School will be having Open House Thursday, August 31st 2017@ 5:00-6:30pm.
The Georgia Chapter of the Dodge Magnum Mafia Car Club is teaming up with several local businesses to “put on one of the biggest car shows Summerville GA has ever seen.” Proceeds will go to benefit the Shriner’s Hospital to help children with disabilities.
Chattooga High School will be having their Annual Title I Meeting on Tuesday, August 22nd at 4:30, in the CHS Conference Room. Parents are encouraged to attend and learn about Title I.
Teresa Luallen was the winner of this week’s AM 1180 Birthday and Anniversary Club. Teresa will get a $25 gift certificate from Menlo Family Restaurant, an arrangement from Duff’s Flowers and a box of goodies from Sugarville Sweets Bakery. The Arc of Chattooga County promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation into the community throughout their lifetimes.
The next meeting of ARCC will be Tuesday, August 8th, 5:30 at The Senior Center on Senior Drive.
They will be discussing the Sensory Room to be installed at Leroy Massey Elementary School and our upcoming plans for a fundraiser.
