Menlo annual Spring Quilt show scheduled for Saturday March 21st has been canceled and will be rescheduled for April 25th….
Coming up this Saturday, March 14, 2020, the 7-8 Summerville Braves will be having a BBQ Fundraiser. The event will be held at the Fit Pit Gym parking lot. All proceeds from the event will benefit the team with uniform, equipment and tournament fee expenses. They are taking pre-orders. The quarterly meeting of the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at the Chattooga County Ag Center in Summerville.

Menlo Lions Club will be making their Brunswick Stew on the 6th of March and pick up will be at the school lunchroom Saturday morning between 7 AM and 10 AM. Price of the stew is $6 a quart or $20 a gallon. Contact Lee Majors at 706-862-2857 to place your order.
Due to the threat of rain, “Coffee with a Cop” has been moved indoors. The event will be held from 7:30 AM – 11 AM on Wednesday, March 4th at McDonald’s in Summerville. McDonald’s owner Jim Aaron told WZQZ News that coffee will be FREE from 7:30 – 11 for all customers who come by. WZQZ will be broadcasting live from the event. Come out for “Coffee with a Cop” coming up Wednesday at your Summerville McDonald’s!
VFW Auxiliary POST 6688 will hold their monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Chattooga County Memorial Home. All current members are encouraged to attend.
